Babymoon at Yellowstone + Grand Teton
This is a 9 day babymoon itinerary visiting Yellowstone and Grand Teton. We did it when I was 22 weeks pregnant. We flew to Salt Lake city first, then we spent 4 days in Yellowstone and 2 days in Grand Teton. The food choices below feature vegan items.
Day 1
Arrive in Salt Lake City, Utah
Got lunch at Buds
really good Vegan sandwiches/ wrap (all items are vegan)
Drive to west yellowstone (4.5 hrs drive), where our hotel is located.
Day 2
Visit Yellowstone National Park
Gibbon falls
Beryl spring
Monument geyser basin (Optional)

Lamar valley (a place to see 🦬)
Day 3
Visit Yellowstone National Park:

Day 6
Visit Grand Teton National Park:
Jenny lake/boat shuttle to cascade canyon/hidden falls/inspiration point/ cascade canyon hike
Scenic tour (1hr)
You can also do a round trip or one way boat tour. You can get off at the west shore boat dock, then hike to cascade canyon. There are hidden falls and the inspiration point along the hike.
Drive up signal mountain
About 40 min drive from lake Jenny visitor center
Seasonal. Road closed Nov to May.
Drive to the end of the road, there is a very small parking lot at the end of the road.
Drive down from the top for a little bit, there is another small parking lot. From there, a short walk to Jackson lake overlook.
Leigh lake trailhead
Do a loop around string lake (3.7 miles)
Or walk along the east side of string lake and Leigh lake. Turn back whenever you want to.
We hiked all the way to Leigh lake portage and turned back, which is about 2.4 miles.
Menors Ferry Historic District
Historic District. A 0.4 mile loop to see historic buildings and a boat replica.
From the parking lot, walk to the Chapel of the Transfiguration
It was open when we got there. Inside the chapel, you can see a nice panorama view of the mountains.

Day 7
National Museum of Wildlife Art
Opens Daily 10- 5pm

Albright View Overlook
Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center
Blacktail Ponds Overlook
Mormon row Historic District
Glacier view turnout
Schwabacher Landing:
A short walk to the "beavers dam sunrise" from the parking lot
After dinner, before sunset:
Walk around Jackson Hole
National Elk Refuge
Possible to see Elk
We did not see any elk there, but it is a beautiful place to drive through.
Day 8
Drive to SLC (4.5 hrs from hotel in Teton)
On the way from Grand Teton to SLC:
Potato museum in Idaho
$6/ person
Has a small cafe
Has a big baked potato statue outside the museum
Things to do in Salt lake City:
Mormon Temple (temple square)
Church history museum
Conference center
Tabernacle
Assembly hall
Great Salt Lake
You can see it by taking a drive around the Antelope Island State Park (6-10pm daily, $15 per car).
Day 9
SLC things to do:
Utah state capitol
Natural History Museum of Utah
Food:
The Big O Doughnuts (100% vegan donuts)
Flight back home
